Welcome to the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, established in 2022. We offer a comprehensive range of programs designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in the rapidly evolving fields of AI and ML.
Our undergraduate program, B.Tech in CSE-Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI&ML), provides students with a solid foundation in both computer science and advanced AI techniques. For those seeking to further their education, our postgraduate program, M.Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, offers specialized training in cutting-edge technologies and methodologies. Additionally, we offer a doctoral program for those wishing to pursue advanced research in specialized domains within AI and ML.
At our department, we are committed to delivering an effective technical education through experiential learning and state-of-the-art infrastructure. Our dedicated faculty members work tirelessly to foster a dynamic learning environment, where students are encouraged to think critically and creatively.
We believe in the importance of lifelong learning and the application of knowledge to real-world problems. To this end, we organize a variety of technical events, including hackathons, coding competitions, training programs, workshops, and seminars. Through these initiatives, we aim to promote holistic student development and cultivate a passion for innovation.
In collaboration with industry leaders such as IBM, we offer specialized AI&ML programs to undergraduate students, ensuring that our curriculum remains relevant and up-to-date with the latest industry trends.
Our ultimate goal is to prepare our students for successful careers in the industry by providing them with the technical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills they need to thrive in today’s competitive job market. To achieve this, we organize industry visits, host technical talks, and facilitate real-time capstone projects, allowing students to gain hands-on experience and develop practical skills that are in high demand by employers.
Join us at the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, where we are shaping the future of technology.

Educational Initiatives: Involve ourselves in training programs and workshops to empower ourselves with the knowledge and skills required to work with AI and ML technologies.
Collaboration: Foster interdisciplinary collaboration within our department and encourage cross-functional teams to work on AI and ML projects. Diverse perspectives can lead to innovative solutions across domains.
Capstone Projects: Identify specific use cases within our operations where AI and ML can make a meaningful impact. Initiate and undertake Capstone projects to test the feasibility and potential benefits of these technologies.
Continuous Learning: The field of AI and ML is dynamic and rapidly evolving. It is encouraged to involve in a culture of continuous learning, where students are encouraged to stay updated on the latest advancements.
By embracing AI and ML, we not only position ourselves as innovators but also future-proof ourselves against the challenges of tomorrow. Let us start on this journey together, fostering a culture of curiosity, collaboration, and excellence.
The IBM Centre of Excellence plays a crucial role in driving innovation, expertise, and collaboration within a specific domain, leveraging the capabilities of IBM’s technology portfolio. It serves as a hub for research, development, and knowledge dissemination to benefit both the organization hosting the Centre of Excellence (CoE) and the broader community. The primary goal is to foster excellence in a particular area, utilizing IBM’s products, services, and technologies.
The key aspects and functions associated with an IBM Centre of Excellence is to explore and innovate in areas related to IBM offerings, and to develop new applications, solutions, and approaches using IBM technologies.
Collaborative program with IBM is started at Mohan Babu University in 2022. The department of AI & ML conducts Workshops on every semester and also organizes training on the curriculum prescribed by the IBM for the students registered for IBM collaborative program.
