The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Mohan Babu University successfully organized a Two-day Workshop on Quality Management and Strategic Planning towards Accreditation & Ranking for Academic Leaders on 8th and 9th July 2025 at the IQAC Discussion Hall.

The workshop was designed with the primary objective of empowering Heads of various departments with essential knowledge, strategic insights, and practical skills to effectively lead quality enhancement initiatives in alignment with national and international accreditation frameworks and institutional ranking parameters.

The sessions focused on a comprehensive analysis of Department-level Key Result Areas (KRAs), with in-depth discussions on the following quality benchmarks:

• Organizing academic events such as conferences, seminars, and workshops
• Research and patent publishing targets
• Participation in Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs)
• Conducting SDG driven academic and social awareness activities
• Skill development programs in areas such as Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), Innovation, and Entrepreneurship
• Hosting of Hackathons and ideation contests
• Faculty involvement in mentoring activities
• Advanced learner support mechanisms and other academic and research benchmarks expected of teaching and research faculty

The workshop also emphasized the importance of strategic planning, documentation practices, performance tracking, and continuous improvement cycles to ensure readiness for NAAC, NIRF, and global ranking frameworks.

This initiative marks a significant step towards strengthening the institutional quality culture and fostering a shared vision for academic excellence and accountability across all departments.
